If you need  to have an official Spanish diploma, that's renowned on a worldwide scale,  Juan Sisay Spanish school now offers the opportunity to have D.E.L.E.  Preparation Courses.

The Instituto Cervantes is the Spanish Government's official language and culture network, with centers throughout the world. The Instituto Cervantes prepares students for the official D.E.L.E. (Diploma in Spanish as a Foreign Language) exams, and awards its own certificates to those who successfully complete each level.

To prepare the student for the exam, there can be taken special preparation courses for the DELE-exam. We will work with the materials provided by the Cervantes Institute and special books.
The courses are given by teachers that are familiar with the DELE-exam, materials and contents. They followed specific courses and trainings

Tuition:

• 25 hours per week: $238
• 20 hours per week: $190
• 15 hours per week: $143

Hourly rate for complementing schedules above: $9.50 which includes:

• specialized classes corresponding with the contents and requirements of the DELE-exam
• educated teacher in the requirements of DELE
• use of materials especially meant for DELE
  

The University of Salamanca collaborates with the Instituto Cervantes in the development of the examinations and in the marking of the examination papers. The diploma is internationally renowned.
The exam comes in the following levels of Spanish:

• Diploma de Español Nivel A1 (Starter level)
• Diploma de Español Nivel A2
• Diploma de Español Nivel B1 (Inicial / Beginner level)
• Diploma de Español Nivel B2 (Intermedio / Intermediate level)
• Diploma de Español Nivel C1
• Diploma de Español Nivel C2 (Superior / Proficiency level)
  

The exam takes place three times a year.  The exams take place on May 21st, August 19th and November 19th 2011 at Celas Maya  School two blocks from Juan Sisay Spanish school.

The prices for the exam in 2011 are (all Guatemala Quetzales):

• Level A1 (Starter 1): Q590
• Level A2 (Starter 2): Q710
• Level B1 (Beginner): Q890
• Level B2 (Intermediate): Q990
• Level C1: Q1050
• Level C2 (Superior): Q1080
